So it's National Split Pea Soup Week in Seattle, and probably elsewhere, and who else to celebrate it but Mr. Seattle Jack Gordon and Seattle's Keep Clam Ivar Haglund. Now it's probably 30 years later and I'm located on the edge of the Palouse, only 50 miles from the headquarters of the USA Dry Pea & Lentil Council, home of the Washington Dry Pea and Lentil Commission and the Idaho Pea and Lentil Commission.  The only problem is no one over here ever heard of Ivar Haglund.
