Dedication Program Schedule of Events

 

They had a lot of speakers that afternoon, anchored by a couple of guys (Master of Ceremonies  Jack Gordon and Governor Al Rosellini) who had been friends for over 10 years. Clarence Martin, here mentioned as Kennedy's Under Secretary of Commerce for Transportation, had served as Washington State Governor from 1933-1941 and is the namesake of Martin Stadium at Washington State University in Pullman. George Kachlein of AAA had earlier served as president of Greater Seattle, Inc.
