New Push-Button Dials Successful Here's the official press release announcing that Bell telephone (remember them?) was going to switch from rotary dialed phone to 'push-button dials." It's the beginning of a revolution, according to the release. 1962 and the beginning steps of what lead to cell phones, iphones, texting, and more.
